My name is Cara and I live, work and produce audio from my home in the heart of Washington, D.C.

I’m an experienced podcast and radio producer, sound designer and writer, who’s passionate about telling real human stories.

I’m available for freelance work and tape syncs - my audio kit includes a Shure MV7 mic and mic stand, a ZoomH6 recorder and Sony MDR-7506 headphones.

If you haven’t heard my work before, you can listen here.

I’m currently working on a diverse slate of podcasts for Goat Rodeo as the Manager of Unscripted Content, including CNN’s Terms of Service, the Atlanta Journal Constitution’s Politically Georgia and It’s UATL, and a few more projects I’m excited to see released in 2026! For the bulk of 2025, I produced, scripted, recorded, edited episodes and managed a team to create Fifteen, a narrative true crime series made in collaboration with Paramount.

Prior to that, I produced, recorded and edited 2 seasons of Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, which premiered at #5 on Apple Podcast’s Top Shows chart and topped Apple’s Society and Culture chart. I also helped produce, conducted interviews and gathered audio for Fur and Loathing, a podcast that The Atlantic declared as one of the Top 20 Best Podcasts of 2024. Beyond pop culture, I work on a variety of national security podcasts, like The Lawfare Podcast, Chatter, The Aftermath and Rational Security, and have collaborated with the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

In addition to 5 years in podcasting, I have 6+ years experience in live radio, where I’ve produced nationally-syndicated talk shows, operated the board, co-hosted and recorded voice-overs for ads and show branding.

In my free time, I also enjoy writing scripts and filming shows with my friends. You can check out the full series I helped write, direct, and act in - The Bachelor: Murder in Paradise - as well as the full-length movie I starred in, Straw Mayor.
